About us

The War Memorial Park Community Tennis Club was established in 2012 through a partnership between Coventry City Council, LTA and Inspire2Coach.

In 2012 the tennis facilities underwent a refurbishment costing in the excess of £225,000. This includes resurfacing the eight full size courts and two mini-courts, brand new fencing, and floodlighting on four of the courts, making this an all year round facility.

Next to the next courts is a newly refurbished café, bowling green and an exciting new adventure playing facility for children. These park facilities will enable tennis members and their families to be in a fun and safe environment.

The tennis club's aim is to offer affordable tennis for all community members. This will give our members a chance to meet, and play alongside others with similar interests.

The War Memorial Park is a Lawn Tennis Association Clubmark accreditated club.
